5. YOUTH: National youth teams head to ODP Interregionals

The U.S. under-14 boys national team will participate in the US Youth Soccer ODP Thanksgiving Interregional Nov. 23-27 at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. U.S. coach Manny Schellscheidt and his five assistant coaches will split the 36 players on the roster into two teams - USA Grey and USA Blue - that will compete against the four regional teams at the event.

  • U.S. U-14 boys roster

  • The U.S. U-16 and U-15 girls will play three matches each against regional ODP teams one year older in age group at the U.S. Youth Soccer ODP Thanksgiving Interregional, starting Monday in Coral Springs, Fla. U.S. head coaches Tad Bobak (U-15s) and Kazbek Tambi (U-16s) have each brought 18 players to the competition.
