The U.S. U-23 national team completed its Chula Vista, Calif. training camp by drawing 0-0 in an exhibition match with the A-League's San Diego Flash. The team will next gather in Milwaukee, Wis. on July 24 to prepare for a July 26 match against the 1997 A-League champion Milwaukee Rampage. The squad then departs for a 17-day camp in Manchester, England, where it will train at the grounds of Manchester United and play against reserve teams from Everton, Liverpool and Manchester United and the senior team from Hyde United.
