D.C. United of MLS will face Vasco da Gama of Brazil in the Interamerican Cup on Nov. 14 and Dec. 5. The Interamerican Cup is contested annually by the winners of the CONCACAF Champions Cup and the Libertadores Cup. D.C. United downed Mexico's Toluca in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 16, while Vasco da Gama defeated Ecuador's Barcelona over two legs in the Libertadores final. The Interamerican Cup will also be a two-leg affair. The first leg will be held at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, Nov. 14, while the second leg will be played at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on Saturday, Dec. 5. The team scoring the most goals over the two legs will be the winner. Ticket prices for either match have not been set. Details will be announced at a later date.
