Is Toronto FC on the lookout for a designated player? If so, the club might want to take a second look at the sky-high prices its already paying the likes of Andy Welsh, Carl Robinson, Danny Dichio and now, Jeff Cunningham, the Toronto Star says. With the likes of Luis Figo, Rivaldo and Robbie Fowler out of reach, TFC may be setting its sights on local boy Tomasz Radzinski, who's out of favor at Fulham FC.

How much money will it take to bring him home? Apparently, too much, according to the Star. But how much can Radzinski, a player who scored just two goals in 35 appearances in the Premiership last year, realistically ask for-especially when the under-whelming Andy Welsh makes $200K? The paper says owner Major Leaf Sports Entertainment shouldn't pay him any more, and if TFC has to look elsewhere, that's fine.
