Instead of a six-episode special on the life of new arrivals David and Victoria Beckham, NBC will air a one-hour special called "Victoria Beckham: Coming to America" on Monday, July 16.

Filming has taken place this spring. Last night Victoria (the former Posh Spice) was in a Dodger uniform at Dodger Stadium throwing out the first ball before the Dodgers-Mets baseball game. The Film crew capture Victoria playing catch with Dodgers pitcher Derek Lowe and talking with Hall of Famer Tom Lasorda, the former Dodgers manager.

"Viewers will get a first-hand glimpse into what it's like to be one of the most sought after celebrities in the world," NBC Entertainment Vice President Craig Plestis said in a statement quoted by E! "Victoria's every move is documented by the paparazzi, but only our cameras have been allowed inside the world of what being Victoria Beckham is really like."
