Buoyed by its strong ratings for the Copa America from Venezuela, Spanish-language network Univision captured the No. 2 network ranking among all adults 18-34 -- not just Hispanics -- for the July sweeps.

Univision was the No. 2 broadcast network in primetime behind only Fox among adults 18-34 (1,040,000), persons 12-34 (1,255,000), and kids 2-11 (420,000).

Its broadcast of the Argentina-Mexico semifinal match was the No. 3 ranked program of the month among adults 18-34, beating out the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in San Francisco.
