Fulham's Americans, captain Brian McBride, Carlos Bocanegra and Clint Dempsey, celebrated their first win of the 2007-08 season, a 2-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers Wednesday night in the rain at Craven Cottage.

McBride and Bocanegra played the entire game, and Dempsey came on with 10 minutes remaining.

Everton's Tim Howard made it two wins in two starts in goal this season with a 3-1 win at Tottenham on Tuesday.

Marcus Hahnemann looked to be headed to leading Reading to another sensational result. Three days after tying Manchester United, the Royals led Chelsea, 1-0, at halftime before the Blues rallied on goals by Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba to win, 2-1.
