Here's Kansas City coach Curt Onalfo's take on New York's Juan Pablo Angel: "He's been an unbelievably great addition to the league." Angel earned the Red Bulls three points in their incredible 5-4 win over the Galaxy Saturday with hustle, desire and skill.

When Joe Cannon parried a long Clint Mathis blast, Angel not only sprinted to keep the ball in play but hit the target with a hard shot from a foot or two off the goal line and well outside the post. Cannon got both hands on it but it squirted free and over the goal line.

Not many players in MLS would have reached that ball, and fewer still are capable of hitting such a narrow slice of the goal under pressure in the final minutes of an exhausting match. He's worth every penny.
