[AMERICANS ABROAD] In the Belgium First Division, U.S. defender Oguchi Onyewu has played every minute of Standard Liege's first four games - all victories in which Standard has scored four goals. Onyewu struck once, in the season opener against SV Zulte-Waregem.

Last Sunday, Onyewu helped Standard to a 4-0 shutout win over KSV Roeselare. Onyewu and the Standard defense have given up just three goals and Standar sits in first place with 12 points, followed by Gent, Anderlecht and Club Brugge (10 points each).
