Midfielder Carl Pett, who scored two goals and added an assist in unbeaten Northwestern's 4-0 victory at Ohio State on Sunday, is the Soccer America Men's Player of the Week for games played Sept. 17-23.
Pett assisted on the Wildcats' first goal 24 minutes into the game when he won a ball in midfield and then fed Piero Bellizzi for the score. In the second half, Pett scored on a header and then added a second goal on a great individual effort to help NU win its 2007 Big Ten opener.

Pett's four goals lead the Wildcats, who are off to their best start in school history at 6-0-1.
