[NAIA UPDATE] Two South California schools rank 1-2 in the NAIA men's poll.

No. 1 Concordia and No. 2 Azusa Pacific are both 8-0-0 after midweek victories.

Sophomore midfielder Ryan Angell scored a pair of goals to lead Don Ebert's Concordia to a 3-0 win over host Hope International in Golden State Athletic Conference play.

Steven Lenhart put away a perfect cross from Sven Simon just over 14 minutes into the Golden State Athletic Conference opener for Azusa Pacific, which held on for a 1-0 win over No. 6-ranked Fresno Pacific. It was the Cougars' third consecutive win by a 1-0 margin, and it extends their program record for a season-opening winning streak to eight games.
