Rowan’s Dan Gilmore recorded his 500th career win on Monday when the Profs defeated Neumann, 3-2.

The Profs got two goals from forward Dwayne Reevey and another from midfielder Peter Malkmus.

In his 32nd season at the New Jersey school, Gilmore has a 500-131-46 won-loss record. He is the eighth men’s soccer coach in the history of the NCAA to achieve 500 wins, four of them are still active.

Gilmore is only the second men’s soccer coach at Rowan. He has guided the Profs to the NCAA Division III national championship in 1981 and 1990. Rowan finished second in 1979 and 2000 and third in 1980, 1985 and 1998.

Rowan has made 24 appearances in the NCAA tournament under Gilmore and captured 13 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) titles.
