Boston College's Alejandro Bedoya
, whose first-half goal gave the Eagles a 1-0 victory over previously unbeaten Wake Forest on Saturday, is Soccer America Men's Player of the Week for games played Oct. 22-28. Bedoya, who transferred to BC after two seasons at Fairleigh Dickinson, scored with his left foot from the top of the area to help the Eagles improve to 6-0-0 in ACC play.
The game-winning score marked the Floridian's fourth of the season and third in league competition. Bedoya has registered a team-high 21 points on seven goals and seven assists in 2007.
He previously made second appearances on the Soccer America Men's Team of the Week.
