Billy Davies became the sixth English Premier League manager to leave in the last nine weeks. Davies left Derby County, which he helped win promotion last spring. Early in the 2007-08 season, Davies brought Americans Benny Feilhaber (Hamburg) and Eddie Lewis (Leeds) to Derby.
