Both unbeaten teams fell Thursday in the semifinals of the NCAA Division II Women's Tournament in Orange Beach, Fla. Tampa knocked off top-ranked Grand Valley State, 2-1, while Franklin Pierce beat Seattle Pacific, 2-0. The Spartans and Ravens meet in Saturday's final in Orange Beach, Ala., to be televised live on CSTV (kickoff: 1 pm ET).

Marissa Mohammed and Marissa Bernard scored to put Tampa up 2-0 at the half.

The Lakers reduced the deficit on a Ashley Elsass goal just 78 seconds into the second period, but the Spartans held GVSU star Katy Tafler in check to preserve the win.

FPU pushed its shutout streak to seven consecutive games with its win over Seattle Pacific, which finished 23-1-0.

Taryn Welker scored her first goal in 14 months, and Mackenzie Bulych added an insurance goal.
