[AMERICANS IN GERMANY]. Right back Steve Cherundolo made his 15th start of the season for Hannover 96 as it won, 3-0, at Hansa Rostock, for which Heath Pearce came on at halftime for his eighth appearance of the season.

Hannover 96 is in seventh place; 15th place Rostock is two points above the relegation zone.

Cherundolo came close to scoring from long range.

In the German Second Division, Gregg Berhalter and Josh Wolff each went the full 90 as seventh-place 1860 Munich disappointed with a scoreless tie with second-to-last Paderborn.
