The 6-foot-3 Campos is only a junior, but he has attracted MLS clubs after a strong summer with the PDL's Fresno Fuego (league-leading 18 goals) and excellent fall campaign with the Sunbirds (17 goals).
Campos and FPU senior Amaury Nunes, who tallied 22 goals this fall, both scored in the Fuego's recent 3-1 win over visiting Chivas USA in an exhibition game.
Their play earned them invites to play with Chivas USA in an offseason exhibition. Campos declined the invitation.
Campos and Nunes, who hail from Rio de Janeiro, began their NAIA careers at Oklahoma State.
