The other regional winners were boys coaches Lars Richters (Michigan STYA), Brian Harvey (Oklahoma SA) and David Newman (Utah YSA) and John P. Dawyot (Delaware YSA), Huw Williams (Kansas SYSA) and Pat Hanley (Alaska SYSA) on the girls side.

Gary Waltz of the the North Fresno (Calif.) Soccer League and Elizabeth Nordell, a U-10 girls coach in Duluth, Minn., were named the 2007 US Youth Soccer adidas Recreational Coaches of the Year.

The regional winners were: boys -- Oscar Rodriguez (New Jersey SYSA), David Opie (Iowa SA) and Geron McGinnis (Oklahoma SA); and girls -- Mark Bragaw (Virginia YSA), Todd Warren (Mississippi SYSA) and Manish Doshi (California-North YSA).

Evelyn Swissler of the Lubbock (Texas) Soccer Association was named 2007 US Youth Soccer Administrator of the Year.

Regional winners were Addie Mattei-Iaia (Eastern New York YSA) and Donna Kaminsky (Kansas SYSA).

John Duvall of the Paris (Ky.) Youth Soccer Association was named the 2007 US Youth Soccer Volunteer of the Year.

The regional winners were Robbie Rickert (Connecticut JSA), Patti Wilson (Mississippi YSA) and Sandy Castillo (Cal-North YSA)

Longtime coach Jay Hoffman was the recipient of the Dr. Thomas Fleck, US Youth Soccer Excellence in Coaching Education Award. He currently serves as the US Youth Soccer Region I ODP boys coach and Paralympic coach.

The late Donald Greer, founder of U.S. Youth Soccer, is the charter member of the U.S. Youth Soccer Hall of Fame.
