[AMERICANS ABROAD] Freddy Adu entered for Benfica in the 72nd minute against Naval but was subbed in the 90th minute with an injury. Benfica won, 2-0, on goals in the 23rd and 90th minutes. Nate Jaqua scored in his Austrian First Division debut for Altach in a 1-1 tie at Austria Vienna.

Jaqua, who joined Altach from the Houston Dynamo, scored on a header in the 21st minute in front of 5,000 fan.

"Jaqua is a good striker," said Altach coach Heinz Fuchsbichler, "which he demonstrated in the preparations. We're satisfied with the point."

Altach is in eighth place of the 10-team league.

Adu was making his 10th league appearance of the season. Adu appeared to have injured his back.
