The Setanta Sports Channel will become regionally and nationally available on a number of Cable platforms during 2008 and hence the company is about to embark on a significant period of  growth. We seek  individuals who enjoy working in a varied and exciting environment and who wish to advance their careers.
Setanta Sports Marketing department is seeking an experienced Marketing Executive who is motivated by the challenge of reaching the audience for the fastest growing sports in the USA. Along with traditional marketing experience any candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of website and general internet/web orientated marketing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
"    Drive subscription revenue, in line with the company's business plan and budget.
"    Develop and implement innovative on line and traditional marketing and promo plans to drive awareness and engagement with Setanta TV channel and Setanta Broadband www.setantanorthamerica.com
"    Liaise and co-ordinate marketing campaigns with the affiliate marketing department.
"    Co-ordinate on line campaigns with print media & event management departments.
"    Day-to-day execution of promotional initiatives includes interfacing with external creative teams.
"    Drive marketing relationships with external partners including various sports federations, grass roots sports organizations and other TV industry partners.
"    Coordinate website development, analysis and reporting in conjunction with Setanta teams in Ireland.
"    Report regularly to upper management.
"    Contribute to annual marketing budget plan.


REQUIREMENTS
"    3-5 years experience in interactive and traditional marketing preferably at television broadcasting level, an agency or a website publisher.
"    Strong interest and knowledge of Soccer and Rugby and international team sports.
"    Experience developing and implementing traffic-driving interactive marketing plans via search related marketing, on line social networking and strategic partnerships.
"    Knowledge of website analytics.
"    Strong communication and relationship management skills. Essential to be a team player.
"    Proven presentation skills both written and oral.
"    Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Working knowledge of HTML, Adobe PageMaker considered a plus.
"    Bachelors' degree in marketing required. Emphasis on TV/Sports considered a plus.
"    Based in the Manhattan, New York office.
"    Must be US Citizen or Current Green Card holder.
