[U.S. SOCCER] The U.S. men's national team, which is already scheduled to play Spain June 4, is close to finalizing friendlies against England at Wembley May 28 and Argentina June 8 at Giants Stadium.

The USA game at England would be David Beckham's next chance to earn his 100th England cap as he has not been picked by Coach Fabio Capello for England's friendly against France later this month.

The USA also plays Poland in Krakow March 26.

The USA's most recent games against England have been in 2005 (when the Americans lost 2-1 in Chicago), in 1994 (a 2-0 loss at Wembley), and in 1993, when it beat England 2-0 in Foxborough, Mass.

Argentina beat the USA, 4-1, at last year's Copa America. In 2003, the Americans fell, 1-0, to Argentina in Miami. In 1999, the USA beat Argentina, 1-0, in Washington, D.C.

In one of the greatest upsets in U.S. soccer history, the USA beat Argentina, 3-0, at the 1995 Copa America in Uruguay.

Spain and the USA have met just twice. The Americans fell, 2-0, in a 1992 friendly in Spain and lost 3-1 at the 1950 World Cup.
