[MLS] The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee suspended Houston Dynamo defender Eddie Robinson three games and fined him $1,000 for an elbow to the head of Kansas City Wizards defender Tyson Wahl during the Dynamo's 0-0 tie at Kansas City on April 12.

No foul was whistled on the play, which took place on a free kick sent into the Houston penalty area in the 47th minute, but the MLS Disciplinary Committee decided that the incident involved "unnecessary contact of an egregious nature" by Robinson to Wahl's head, which constitutes a red card offense.

The three-game suspension shall be served by Robinson during the Dynamo's games: April 19 -- Los Angeles Galaxy, April 26 -- Columbus Crew and May 3 -- Chivas USA.
