[MLS] With David Beckham in tow, the Los Angeles Galaxy headed back on the exhibition circuit, and it had no more luck than it has had in MLS, where it's again playing below .500 almost two months into the season.

Cuban Eduardo Sebrango scored in the 66th minute to give the USL First Division's Vancouver Whitecaps a 2-1 win over the Galaxy Tuesday before 37,104 fans at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium.

Beckham had an assist on Alan Gordon's goal for the Galaxy.

Former D.C. United striker Nick Adderly scored the first goal for the Whitecaps, who outshot Los Angeles, 14-8.

The Galaxy was without Landon Donovan, who was a late scratch with what was reported to be a right calf strain.
