[REF WATCH] A total of six American referees have been assigned to officiate the men's and women's soccer tournaments at this Summer's Olympic Games in China.

On the men's side, Jair Marrufo, along with assistant referees George Gansner and Kermit Quisenberry, will officiate in the tournament.

Maruffo is one of U.S Soccer's full-time referees.

On the women's side, the USA. will be represented by Kari Seitz and assistant referees Marlene Duffy and Veronica Perez.

Seitz served a referee at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

It is the first major international tournament for Duffy and Perez, who are in their first year on the FIFA International Panel of Referees.
