[ENGLAND] Barcelona's Frank Rijkaard, Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini, Russia coach Guus Hiddink and Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson are among the names being mentioned as possible candidates to replace Israeli Avram Grant, who was fired as manager of Chelsea on Saturday.

The move came three days after the Blues fell to Manchester United on penalty kicks in the final of the UEFA Champions League and eight months after he took charge at Stamford Bridge in place of Jose Mourinho.

Grant had been director of football at Chelsea and he might return to that front-office position.

Dutchmen Rijkaard and Hiddink are viewed as the favorites to take the managerial job at Chelsea, whose technical staff has a heavy Dutch influence.
