[AMERICANS ABROAD] New Mexican Edgar Castillo started for Santos in a 2-2 tie with Monterrey that gave it a 3-2 aggregate tie and moved it into the finals of Mexico's Torneo Clausura.

Santos, which hasn't won a title in 25 years, will meet Cruz Azul in the two-leg final. The Cemeteros tied San Luis, 1-1, and advanced, 2-1, on aggregate. Michael Orozco, who is headed to London to join the USA in preparation for its game against England Wednesday, did not play for San Luis.

Dallas product Marco Vidal started for Indios Saturday in a 2-2 tie with Leon that gave them a 3-2 victory on aggregate and clinched Mexico's Premier A (second level) title.

With the victory, the Ciudad Juarez club clinches the sole promotion berth in the First Division.
