[EURO '08 COUNTDOWN] In its final tuneup before its Euro '08 opener against Romania on Monday, France defeated Colombia, 1-0, on Franck Ribery's penalty kick in the 24th minute.

Thierry Henry, who was taken down in the penalty area for the deciding penalty, celebrated his 100th cap for France.

"Not many strikers from the big nations have reached 100 caps so this means a lot to me but the main thing tonight is that we won," Henry said. "We prepared ourselves in order to win Euro 2008, that's the goal."

Coach Raymond Domenech started what is likely to be is starting lineup against Romania with Karim Benzema and Henry up top in a 4-4-2 formation.

The main concern is the injury to captain Patrick Vieira that should keep him out of the opener.
