STARTING RATE or SALARY RANGE: Negotiable.
JOB DUTIES: Hold tryouts the week of August 18 to assemble NMT soccer team and develop goals. Develop playing schedule including tournaments, oversee game day field setup. Plan and conduct training sessions at least 3 x wk. Plan game strategy. Arrange and supervise travel. Conduct correspondence with prospective student athletes, other teams and league officials. Advise club officers, assist in budget preparation, and report game results to on and off campus news outlets. Season ends mid May.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and write information. Two years college playing experience required. Soccer skills, tactics and strategy required. Team building required. Coaching techniques required. Group psychology desired. Class C United States Soccer Federation license or experience equivalent required. Mobility required to adequately move around field during practice sessions.

The United States Soccer Federation seeks a Director of Coaching Education to raise the overall standard of play in the U.S. through coaching education, player development and player identification programs. This position is responsible for developing coaching curriculum and best practices at all levels, including with USSF's new Development Academy. Candidates should have a USSF A License, extensive coaching experience, excellent teaching ability, a firm understanding of age appropriate development priorities, strong communication skills, and leadership ability.
