[AMERICANS ABROAD] Scottish FA Cup hero DaMarcus Beasley was injured in Rangers' 1-0 victory over German fourth division club Preussen Munster, the first of three games during its preseason camp in the Netherlands.

Beasley, who started, could be out as long as three weeks with a hamstring injury and will miss Rangers' UEFA Champions League qualifying series against Kaunas or Santa Coloma.

Beasley had missed six months last season with a knee injury but returned for the end of Rangers' season that featured FA Cup and League Cup titles and second-place finishes in the Scottish Premier League and UEFA Cup.

The injury also puts in doubt his participation in the crucial opening game of the semifinal round of World Cup 2010 qualifying Aug. 20 at Guatemala.
