National Championships Schedule
Arizona's Sereno White, the Region IV under-19 boys champion, has been
disqualified from the 2008 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships,
scheduled to be played next week in North Little Rock, Ark. The
Colorado Rush Nike will replace Sereno.
The decision comes after Sereno was suspended from all soccer activity
with the Arizona Youth Soccer Association for the falsification of the
drop forms.
Verification of the of the falsification of the drop forms came during
a meeting on Saturday AYSA officials had with members of Sereno Soccer
Club.
The Colorado Rush Nike lost to Sereno on penalty kicks at the Region IV
championships in Honolulu.
Sereno's exit leaves the U-18 Cisco Toros (boys) as the only Arizona
rep at the National Championships.
