[OFF THE POST] After failing to establish himself in the Romanian league, 24-year-old Adrian Patulea traveled to England in hopes of earning a contract with a professional team. Patulea asked coaches at several different clubs to give him a trial but they refused, citing complications with his work forms. Frustrated, the Romanian striker decided to take drastic measures to be noticed by Lincoln City coach Peter Jackson.

During one of the fourth tier squad's training sessions, Patulea ran around the training ground ... with his naked girlfriend on his back, according to the Mirror.

Patulea's antics "got the attention of the players," according to Jackson, who was impressed enough to give the forward a trial with the club. Now, Patulea has scored four goals in two games, including a hat trick in his preseason debut against Lincoln United.

Jackson is hopeful of signing the player.

"It will be very complicated to sort out and hopefully we will get to the bottom of the situation sooner rather than later," he said. "We are in touch with the Romanian [federation] because this lad certainly has something about him."
