South Coast Bayern sweeps at Milk Cup

California's South Coast Bayern beat County Fermanagh, 3-0, on Monday and then edged Ipswich Town of England, 3-2, the next day to advance to the quarterfinals of the U-17 Premier Section at Northern Ireland's Milk Cup, one of the world's most prestigious summer youth tournaments.

In its first game, Bayern beat County Fermanagh thanks to goals from Enrique Cardenas, Sergio Carranza and John Fitzpatrick. The wins set up a date with Fluminense of Brazil in Wednesday's quarterfinals.

Other teams in the top flight of the quarterfinals include Manchester United and Watford of England.
