Padilla ejected in Chivas tie

[AMERICANS IN MEXICO] In the fourth game day of Mexican First Division Apertura 2008 action, 21-year-old California Jesus Padilla made his second appearance of the season for Chivas Guadalajara as a halftime sub but was red-carded in the 87th minute of of a 2-2 tie with Necaxa.

New Mexico product Edgar Castillo went the full 90 for Santos in a 3-0 win over Indios, whose Texan midfielder Marco Antonio Vidal stayed on the bench. Vidal started in Indios' season opener.

Texan Jose Francisco Torres played the final 28 minutes for Pachuca's 1-1 draw with Atlante and was unlucky not to be awarded a penalty kick on a late-game breakaway.

Another Texan, Daniel Hernandez went the full 90 in Jaguares' 1-1 tie with Atlante.
