Big win for Castillo's Santos

[AMERICANS IN MEXICO] Defender Edgar Castillo has played the full 90 in all of Santos' five Apertura 2008 games this season, including Sunday's 5-3 win over Chivas Guadalajara.

Defending champion Santos now has a 2-1-2 win-loss-tie record and is sixth in the overall standings, and second in Group 1 behind Atlante..

Leading the overall standings, with five wins and a tie, is San Luis, whose Californian defender Michael Orozco is back from Olympic duty but did not see action in a 1-0 win over Tigres.

Pachuca's Texan midfielder Jose Francisco Torres was a second-half sub in a 3-1 loss to Pumas. Pachuca is winless after five games.

Two other Texans saw action last weekend.

Daniel Hernandez
went 90 minutes for Jaguares in a 3-2 win at Club America.

Marco Antonio Vidal played the first half in Indios' 1-1 draw over Toluca.
