This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Florida, which was hit hard by graduation, but the Gators have won seven in a row and are six-for-six in the SEC.

Balance scoring has been a key for Florida. Megan Kerns, Ameera Abdullah, Tahnai Annis, Lindsay Thompson and Angela Napolitano all have four or more goals, while Ashlee Elliott has three goals and three assists.

Coach Becky Burleigh says the leadership of her three seniors -- Kerns, Abdullah and Liz Ruberry - has been fabulous.

"Right now, all three are making a big impact on the field," she said. "That is just one part of their impact for us. They've all been terrific leaders. I think a huge part of the success of our season so far is their leadership."
