COLLEGE RECRUITING: U-17 Women's World Cup prospects

Play has begun at the inaugural Under-17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand. Both the United States and Canada are loaded with college prospects. (In the case of Canada, it has one player already in college: Memphis freshman Julia Ignacio.) Here's a look at who is going where, based on verbal commitments ...

Boston College has landed a pair of U.S. stars, Kristie Mewis and Vicki DiMartino, who joins her older sister Gina, at BC.

Both Texas and Stanford have verbal commitments from two U.S. U-17s, while West Virginia has verbals from three Canadians.
