The NAIA has introduced an opening round to its national championships for men's and women's soccer. Play gets underway Saturday with 15 first-round games for both the men and women. The men's winners will advance the 50th annual NAIA National Men's Championship Dec. 1-6 at Fresno Pacific. Winners of the opening-round women's games will play at Embry-Riddle, the site of the National Women's Championship Dec. 1-6 in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The No. 1 seed is Oklahoma City. Lindsey Wilson is making its 15th straight, which is the most by any school in the field.

The NAIA women's opening round is also Saturday. The No. 1 seed is Lindsey Wilson, which will open at home against Siena Heights. Defending champion Martin Methodist (Tenn.) is the No. 6 seed and will host Indiana Wesleyan.
 
Winners of the opening-round games will play at Embry-Riddle (Fla.), the site of the National Championship Dec. 1-6 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
