Texans perfect in National League girls play

The Dallas Texans Red, the defending national champions, won all four games in the under-17 girls division, making them the only team to win all four games in the U.S. Youth Soccer National League's  opening weekend of girls play in North Carolina.

Eclipse Select are 3-0-1 in U-17 play, and three teams are unbeaten in the U-15 division (FC Pennsylvania Strikers) San Diego Surf White and NSA Premier Fury)

In the U-16 division, the defending national champion Dallas Texans Red Dallas are one of three teams with 3-1-0 records. The others are Cal South's Slammers FC and So Cal Blues.

National League play resumes Dec. 31-Jan. 2 at the Disney's Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
