There's no offseason for MLS's youth teams and affiliated youth teams. The Chicago Fire Juniors Reds, Kansas City Wizards Juniors, Mississippi Fire Juniors and RSL Florida joined D.C. United in sending youth teams to Disney's Soccer Showcase.

With the exception of D.C. United, whose academy team fell to English club Chelsea, 4-2, in the marquee game of the U-17 Showcase, MLS teams went unbeaten on Day 1 of the Disney's Soccer Showcase.

The Chicago Fire Juniors Reds won a pair of 1-0 decisions in the U-16 Showcase and U-15 Predator divisions, while the Kansas City Wizards Juniors tied the powerful Dallas Texans Houston Red, 3-3.

The Mississippi Fire Juniors and RSL Florida, which have affiliate agreements with MLS club, also went unbeaten. The Mississippi Fire Juniors won two games, while RSL Florida teams won, 6-0, and tied 1-1.
