[ARGENTINA]
Boca Juniors won Argentina's Torneo Apertura despite losing to upstart Tigre, 1-0, in the final game of a three-team playoff.

Boca, Tigre and San Lorenzo all finished with three points after two games, but Boca took the title on goal difference. It went into the final game knowing it would win the title -- its 23rd overall -- as long as it did not lose by more than one goal.

The three teams finished tied on points after the regular season, where there is no tiebreaker.
