Kollie steals show in ODP Boys Super Group final

Emmanuel Kollie of the Philadelphia Soccer Club scored a hat trick to lead 1992 Region I to a 4-0 win over 1993 Region IV in Tuesday's final of the U.S. Youth Soccer ODP Boys Super Group. The four 1992 teams beat their younger opponents in all four placement games, the only games in which teams crossed over.

Emmanuel Kollie of the Philadelphia Soccer Club scored a hat trick to lead 1992 Region I to a 4-0 win over 1993 Region IV in Tuesday's final of the U.S. Youth Soccer ODP Boys Super Group.

Kollie, a junior at Father Judge High School, scored all three goals within nine minutes of the first half.

Between his first two goals in the 22nd and 24th minutes and his third goal in the 33rd minute, Eric Medrano, who plays for Maryland's Montgomery Soccer Club and is a junior at High Point High School, scored the other goal in the 26th minute after beating four defenders and knocking in a left-footed shot.

The four 1992 teams beat their younger opponents in all four placement games, the only games in which teams crossed over.
