The reigning national champion Dallas Texans Red Dallas team improved to 5-0-0 in U.S. Youth Soccer National League under-17 girls play with a 4-0 win over the BVSC Stars Mallorca of Kansas Friday at Disney's Soccer Showcase.

Eclipse Select (4-0-1) remained right behind the Texans with a 2-0 win over Illinois rival Ela Elite.

The Texans and Eclipse Select meet Friday in a match that could decide the U-15 National League champion.

In U-16 play, Eclipse Select beat the defending national champion Texans, 2-1.

Each National League group consists of four teams. The other four teams will play their second series of matches in March in Nevada.

The top two teams from each age group advance to the 2009 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships, and the top four teams from each age group secure a spot to return to National League play the following season.

The National League teams are simultaneously competing in the Showcase divisions of the Disney's Soccer Showcase. The winners of the three-game series advance to Saturday's semifinals.
