U-17 Boys World Cup Qualifying

[U.S. SOCCER] In its quest to continue its streak of being the only nation to qualify for every U-17 World Cup, the U.S. U-17 boys national team will face Canada, Cuba and Honduras next spring at the Concacaf championship in Tijuana, Mexico.

The USA was drawn into Group A in the tournament (April 21-May 2) that will qualify four teams from Concacaf for the 2009 U-17 World Cup.

Coach Wilmer Cabrera will be at the helm of his first qualifying tournament, from which four teams will qualify for the finals in Nigeria (Oct. 24-Nov. 15).

Tijuana, Mexico

April 21-May 2
Group A: USA, Honduras, Canada, Cuba
Group B: Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Trinidad & Tobago
