[AMERICANS IN MEXICO] New Mexico product Edgar Castillo went the full 90 for Club America in a 2-1 win over his former club, Santos, in the first weekend of the Clausura 2009 championship.

Castillo, 22, who helped Santos win Clausura 2008 title, was yellow-carded in 45th minute.

U.S. international Jose Francisco Torres played the first half - which ended 0-0 - for Pachuca in its 4-1 win over Tigres. Defender Michael Orozco, a 2008 Olympian for the USA, played the whole game for San Luis in its scoreless tie at Morelia.
