[ITALY] Kaka will stay with AC Milan, which Manchester City claimed had agreed to sell him to the English club for $147 million. For his part, the Brazilian star said, "Not even for 30 seconds did I think about going to Manchester City. Milan is my home."

Manchester City executive chairman Garry Cook said AC Milan had agreed to a sale, while Kaka's representative Diogo Kotscho said the choice to stay with the Serie A club was made Kaka alone.

"Kaka thought about [the offer], listened to his heart and decided to stay," Kotscho said. "At the end, Kaka decided to remain at his home, which is at Milan."

Cook said it looked like "political and public pressure" kept Kaka from making the move.
