Lincoln, Neb., police ticketed a women for misdemeanor child neglect for allegedly slapping her 15-year-old daughter in the head and dropping her off on Interstate-80 after becoming enraged over the girl's poor play in a soccer game on Saturday at the Abbott Sports Complex.

Terrell Mackey, a 42-year-old Lincoln mother, reportedly slapped her daughter for messing up the lines drilled into her on how to improve her game.

Mackey is accused of pulling over to the side of the highway near the downtown Lincoln exit, ordering her daughter out of the car and then leaving.

The misdemeanor child neglect charge is punishable by up to three months in jail and a $500 fine.
