Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez fears Steven Gerrard won't return to action for almost two weeks, leaving the captain with just four more games to play in the league.

The England midfielder was already ruled out of today's game against Arsenal because of a groin injury. But Benitez now says it will be "difficult" for him to recover in time for Saturday's match against Hull. Liverpool plays at home against Newcastle on Sunday May 3, with only three other league matches remaining as the club chases its first title in 19 years.

Despite the setback, Benitez believes his team can still win games: "It's always disappointing when Stevie isn't in the team but we have won games without him and played well without him at times this season. But we have quality in the squad and I am sure we can still play nice football, score goals and win games, whoever is in the team."
