Blau Weiss Gottschee knocked off the New York Red Bulls, 4-1, in U.S. Soccer Development Academy U-15/16 action, ending the Red Bulls' undefeated streak at 16 games (13-0-3). They were the last unbeaten team in either of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy age groups.

Anches Fernandez and Chris Johnson gave Gottschee a 2-0 lead within the first quarter of an hour. The Red Bulls had a player sent off early in the second half, but they managed to reduce the deficit to one goal on Sam Adjei's strike in the 49th minute.

Gottschee put the game away in the last 12 minutes with a pair of goals courtesy of Justin Orden.

"We did not compete well in the first half of the game on Saturday and dug ourselves a hole that we could not climb out of," said Red Bulls coach Rob Elliott.
