Slammers FC, one of the top girls programs in Southern California, has added Mia Hamm to its coaching staff. Hamm will work with older age teams whose athletes are approaching college.  She will work on state, regional, national, and international championship preparations.

The Slammers' directors of coaching are brothers Ziad and Walid Khoury.

"To have a player of Mia's caliber and integrity training our players is an opportunity which will touch these kids forever," said Ziad. "Mia is truly a special person."
 
"I am very excited to work with the Slammers," said Hamm.  "Ziad and Walid have given me a great opportunity to gain some valuable experience. My family has a long history with the Slammers program going back to the beginning. Working with close family and friends made this decision very easy for me."
