West Coast and Slammers take two in Cal South

Cal South, which has produced 17 U.S. Youth Soccer national champions over the last five years, recently concluded in State Cup competition for the U-14 to U-18 age groups in which West Coast FC and Slammers FC won two boys and girls titles, respectively.

West Coast's U-16 boys reached as So Cal age group champions, while the U-15s defeated the ISC Strikers to their third meeting in three years. WCFC's U-13s also won the State Cup.

The Slammers add two more state championships, taking their total to 26. The U-18 and U-16 girls both beat the rival Eagles, 1-0.
